New Turbine Aircraft Disassembly Hangar Expands BAS Part Sales' Global Reach

Turbine Engine Aircraft Arriving on Truck

At BAS Part Sales, we’ve always believed in pushing the boundaries of what aviation e-commerce can do. From the day we launched our business 13 years ago to the launch of our online storefront several years ago, our goal has been to bring simplicity, speed, and transparency to the used aircraft parts market. And now, I’m excited to share the next big step in our journey: we’ve opened a dedicated turbine engine disassembly hangar right next to our headquarters at the Weld County Airport (KGXY) in Greeley, Colorado.

This new facility is more than just an expansion—it’s a transformation of what we can offer our customers.

From Piston Engines to Turbine Power

For years, we’ve built our reputation on a massive inventory of piston-engine components, legacy aircraft parts, and a best-in-class customer experience. But the aviation world is evolving, and so are we.

Turbine-powered aircraft—from the Cessna Citation and HondaJet to Learjets, Falcons, and King Airs—are now the backbone of business and charter aviation around the world. With their growth comes a need for reliable, affordable turbine components, and that’s exactly what we’re here to deliver.

This new hangar allows us to bring the same care and expertise we’ve honed in piston disassembly to complex turbine engines and airframes. And because we control the process from start to finish—disassembly, cleaning, inspection, imaging—we can offer an unmatched level of quality, speed, and transparency.

Why Now?

When I look back at where we started, I’m amazed at how far we’ve come. But I’m even more excited about what’s ahead. This hangar represents more than just square footage or equipment—it represents our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer service.

I’m proud of our team. I’m proud of the trust we’ve built. And I’m proud that we’re able to bring something new to the industry that truly makes a difference.

We’ve been watching market demand for turbine components skyrocket, and we knew there was a gap we could fill. Customers kept telling us they were tired of long lead times, murky part histories, and unclear pricing. So we decided to change that.

By combining our industry-leading digital platform with the hands-on skills of our incredible technicians, we’ve created something truly unique: a fast, trustworthy way to buy turbine aircraft parts online. Whether you’re a fleet manager trying to keep jets in the air or an MRO facility scrambling for a last-minute replacement, we want to be the first—and best—place you turn to.

What Sets Us Apart?

At BAS, we don’t just list parts and hope for the best. Every component that comes through our doors is deep cleaned, rigorously researched, professionally photographed, and backed by a 90-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.

We’ve built that level of trust over time, and we’re not changing it just because we’re scaling up. In fact, we’re doubling down on what works. Whether it’s a small fastener or a complete avionics suite, we treat every part—and every customer—with the same level of attention.

Opening this turbine hangar isn’t just a milestone for us; it’s a springboard. It sets us up to redefine expectations in turbine aircraft salvage and to bring our services to even more customers across the globe.

Market demand for reliable, cost effective turbine components has grown rapidly. By leveraging our industry leading digital platform and the expertise of our aviation technicians, we can offer unprecedented transparency and speed in turbine aircraft salvage. This facility allows us to serve an entirely new customer base around the world, ensuring that operators can keep their fleets flying safely and affordably.
